I absolutely love The League! So sad it's in its final season. Even if you're not american (like me) and enjoy football it's really an amazing well written comedy. And the guest stars are awesome too

The TV series is about football fantasy, a group of friends who compete in a private league.
It is surprisingly good I have seen it at least twice, it is a must watch, especially for those who like fantasy games or football.

Having the friends over and a little competition is the best summary.

Season 4, definitely their best season so far!

The way all the plot strands have been joining together in the third series are practically masterful.

it gets significantly better in the second season; although it is still too much guy humour

The downside to this show, was bringing in NFL players way to often. it made it very unrealistic. Other than that there were def some very funny parts and the characters are great.

I have no idea about the game or the league. But I still enjoyed it. All the friends are toxic but not equally. I could have enjoyed it a bit more if I was more aware of this sport.
