Actually quite good. It's about a boy Jake Long living a double life as Human and Dragon. He's not the only one living a double life though. The most important enemies are his crush Rose aka Huntsgirl and her dad Huntsman, his arch nemesis (true name unknown).

There's some sort of character development, which makes it's a bit semi-serialized. I'm not a fan of this style myself. It was a TV show airing on TV at the time. There were no streaming services available at the time because the average internet speed wasn't fast enough for that and many people still had basic phones and 4:3 TVs.To put it into perspective, Youtube launched nearly at the end of 2005 while this show aired since the start of 2005. Imagine how fast technological development went from there. To make my point here, if you missed some of the episodes, you'll miss part of what made American Dragon good to start with. No recap, too bad. Watch a rerun to get up to speed. Otherwise a good show for its time.
