Falling Skies S5 — Season 5

Falling Skies opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency campaign against the occupying alien force.
I have finished! I think this season wasn't bad, but I do agree with the sentiments that others share. This season was rushed, and undid a lot of good character development. I think it would have been a lot better with one simple change, and that is:
remove the John Pope storyline and the wasps.

Pope going rogue didn't need to happen, and didn't add to the overall story. While, yes, it was good, but it didn't progress the plot. There could have been a lot more relevant story if he didn't 'break bad'. I think a simple solution would have Sara survived and Tom sent help.

The wasps didn't need to happen. They appear a couple times... but aren't relevant to the plot.
