Gilmore Girls

I watched this show when at its original air date and I'm re watching in Netflix because it is one of the most funny, corky, simple, fascinating and brilliant shows that has ever been made. The writing is extraordinary and the acting too. It will give you so many people to love and a whole world that you can feel both it's so realistic yet it's magical and fantastic. I could watch it for ever and feel good.

I could keep on watching this show over and over again. That's why I'm starting again tonight, for like the 6th time.

Gilmore Girls is one of the best shows ever made and Amy-Sherman Palladino is queen of comedy dialogs. They seem so simple yet they're so full of smart details and remarks. Very few people can actually write this good.

And then there is the cast. Lauren Graham as Lorelai is just flawless and I always wished I had mum like that. Hard working, loving and full of joy. She has her flaws but you simply gotta love her. Rory on the other hand is not as fun, but she gives Lorelai the best mirror and reality checks. She's also very stubborn and achieves anything she wants (which is why I named my dachshund after her). And then we have Emily. Kelly Bishop is one of a kind, acting royalty. If you haven't, go check her book memoir, it's so worth it. Her portrayel of Emily has so many layers. She will make you laugh, she will make you cry, she will make you despise her from time to time, but in the end she will make you understand and love her.

Of course the rest of the cast is incredible too... Paris and Kirk are characters I will never forget as long as I live. They gave me so much joy and they made me laugh out loud so many times.

But let's move on. When it comes to relationships, there's only one right guy for each of the Gilmore Girls... Richard (da), Luke (da) and Jess. And anyone who says otherwise will have a problem with me 😂 Jess is the perfect boyfriend. Revolting yet smart as a teen, then supporting and even smarter while following his dreams when older. Any girl (or guy) would be lucky to have him.

I have spent years and years with this show and I've seen every episode at least seven times. It's like a cozy blanket in a chilly winter day. Going back to Stars Hollow will always get me out of any bad mood.

I simply can't recommend this show enough. Just give it a try, you will have the best time ❤

Just finished the show after so many years spending watching it. But the reason why it took me so long to finish is not because this is a boring, dull show but on the contrary it is because this is one of the most beautiful, the greatest shows’ of our time. I spread it to years, because it gave me peace and taught me so many things. It’s a lovely show which cuddles you with a fun mother&daughter relationship while taking you through their life struggles (love, job, school, friendship, family, growing up…). You get to see the characters grow and mature while they try to follow their dreams.

10/10, would recommend to everyone. If you are hesitating to watch, I say do not wait for a second and go for it.

4x14 is called 'The Incredible Sinking Lorelais' by the way! Not 'The Incredible Shrinking Lorelais' >.< x'D
