Into the Badlands

Initially, I thought this was just some martial arts action series, but then a character's eyes became luminous and his fighting skills were briefly 'enhanced' -- I was instantly hooked. I usually fast-forward through fight scenes and gun battles -- not in this show, amazingly choreographed sequences not to be missed. Great story, except there wasn't enough of it :-) If there were only to be 5 episodes, it would've played better for me as a miniseries with plot resolution and a hint of potential continuation. Didn't care for the multi-pronged cliffhanger finale -- I liked the episode, just not they way they ended things.

The actor who plays M.K. seemed miscast, I think David Mazouz (Gotham's young Bruce Wayne) would've been perfect in that role. Regardless, still loved the show :-)

I never wanted it to end. The show just felt like it could go on forever because of the possibilities that were laid out in the story telling as well as in the realm of reality in witch the story exists. Now that they have ended the series, I am totally disappointed because it seems that so much potential was left to ??????????? . Any way, here's hoping for a worthy sequel / continuance of the possibilities squandered !!!!!!!
