I feverishly consumed every episode, as it aired, but, of course, it has been officially cancelled by TVLand after two seasons and a MAJOR cliffhanger!
Time to check this show out! Description sounds funny.
OK premise, terribly implemented. The perception being it was made by straights to laugh at gays. The only gay characters are stereotypical, all of them, and all without authenticity or spunk. Apparently the town in which this takes place is all-white, which speaks to the demographics of the target audience: rural, bigoted communities. There are some black characters -- all the criminals. Top it off with flat sophomoric comedic acting and writing and it's all just a pile of sh!t.
This is totally a knock off of a 2009 French movie Le Missionaire.
I need to watch a few more episodes. I'm still on the fence with this one.
