I loved the ending of the second season! It felt real or as real as it can be with the premise scenario
and it definitely felt more hopeful than first season's ending
Hopefully it will get renewed for a season three. I'll be looking forward to seeing how they can raise the stakes.
Definitely worth a watch if you're into snarky commentary about ridiculous topics in a show that somehow manages to feel realer than other, more serious TV-dramas currently running.
Also, the acting is good to fantastic.

A delicate combination of criminology and stupid funny shit. This is so genius.

I went into it thinking it would just be a silly and fun show to watch. Instead, it was a fascinating, well written parody of true crime shows with the same serious theme, covering a silly subject matter. The characters were interesting and flawed and it is a fairly realistic portrayal of high school life. I would love to see a second season of this show.

American Vandal perfectly compliments how much people crave for enticing dramas on TV. In this satirical documentary, it is interesting how the crime and evidence surrounding the story are formulated without the information becoming too overwhelming or irrelevant. It is also filled with wonderful inappropriate jokes as comedic relief. Keep an eye out for the critiques that the show attempts to highlight through the structure of North American education and the complicated lives students live. The use of social media proves that nothing ever goes away and the choices we make when we’re younger could have a heavy impact on our future. People’s intentions are not always clear but sometimes we forget to remain unbiased in determining who the real culprit is in these investigations.
Dylan's actions in those final few moments at the end of the season reveal he’s guilty of a future crime but it doesn’t “actually” reveal who drew the dicks on those cars. The theories that are presented make it plausible who could’ve done it but the lack of physical evidence makes it hard to prove. In the event we see a second season, it’ll be interesting to see what the main focus will be from this point on.

The series is much more serious than it looks like in the first place, and
the last episode just confirms that you should look deeper into what these series are about in real
.

Going in I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. For what is meant to be a satirical style investigative show, it's got quite the serious undertone...and then instead of killing and hard crimes, you had penis and poop jokes. It is right up my alley, but I will say that the first season is hands down the better of the two seasons. I personally wish there were more seasons, or at least more shows like this, but I think it is safe to say it would be hard to make a quality show like this feel fresh and go on any longer. There are only so many fabricated twists you can put into a school investigation. With that being said, I do think this is a show that everyone should at least check out, it might just be you next favorite four hour binge.

Average Season Review: 8/10
