Don´t know how historically accurate this is (don´t know English history) but the quality of the production is really good. Exactly what you´d expect from the BBC.

I like the premise of the show. The first episode left me a little confused but that is always a good thing...makes me want to keep watching.

Merely being dressed up in period clothing and produced by the BBC, doesn't make you a masterpiece of the small screen. It's fair, but some of the acting is mediocre (Harington, et. al.), and some of it wretched (Tyler, et. al.). And not that it should have to be said, but don't look to popular media for your history lessons.

Only watch if you have time to kill. You're welcome. 😉

Just a warning: I'm not squeamish by any means, but a lot of the torture/execution scenes made me feel sick.

That aside, it just wasn't that great. I can't point out anything specific problems. The acting wasn't that bad. The story wasn't that bad. It all just felt very bland.

Slow, boring, depressing. One of the worst shows I have watched in recent memory.

A good show spoiled by misrepresenting English History.

It is not so bad and not so good. Average performances, ok script. Guy "Guido" Fawkes really lit a powder wick as long as the one shown in the show? Couldn't he have cut enough for the powder kegs to explode in few seconds or even set fire directly to the kegs, since Fawkes' intention was die in the explosion?
