The Neighborhood

The nicest guy in the Midwest moves his family into a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone appreciates his extreme neighborliness. That includes their new next-door neighbor Calvin.

It's a little bit basic. I'm watching from the uk and it's my easy light watch for the week. I've watched every episode so far and I'm in S2 ep17 so it can't be that bad. Some people may say there some reverse racism contained within it but it is more that the jokes are based around race. Because it based on race it would not appeal to most uk audiences because we are not such a racially divide society like the USA still is.
Can't say much to the real issues adressed in this show, but it is funny for sure.
And Beth is proving, that she ain't a one hit wonder.
Finding the 4th season a little preachy, otherwise a good family show.
Awful show. Not much else to say.
Couldn't finish 1 episode... Pile of garbage. At least my girlfriend likes it so there's an audience for this shit.
I couldn't make it through the first episode without cringing.
The show is hilarious and well thought out. Each episode has a learning lesson.
The show is corny but funny. We recently (2 years ago) moved from the country of Upstate NY to the ghetto of Indianapolis and there is a lot of relatability in the show. We definitely feel like the Dave and Gemma. Although their neighborhood is a lot nicer than ours and we have a lot more violence and death.
Season 4 sort of sucked
The Neighborhood is an overly sitcomy cliche fest. The script is predictable, the acting is completely overdone, and the laugh track is intrusive. It's like a parody specifically written to be cheesier than the cheesiest multicam sitcom.
This just screams of a show trying to be "woke", hip and topical, but to me it feels more like a show out of its time.
