If you can handle the pain, you should watch till the end. There is always a shine of light, even in the more darkest nights...
Mark Ruffelo shows he's actually a good actor.
But this dramatic negative psychologic cr*p is not for me, sorry.
Zzzzzz...
Pretentious, boring and way too long
I never questioned Mark Ruffalo's acting abilities, this might be unnecessarily over the line though. I'd rather just let him have the Emmy now, and leave the rest of the series alone.
[HBO] The curse in the family. Or an excuse for not accepting the responsibility of being what one is. This story speaks of pain, of almost religious suffering, like a Via Crucis that must be resisted until the revelation of oneself is achieved. There is also a feeling of guilt that destroys, a trace of madness that produces emotional scars. It is a great series blessed by the work of a great actor.
The acting is great, but everything about it is deeply depressing with no upswing in sight. I strongly suggest avoiding this one if you're in a dark place, or if you don't like soul crushing drama.
FUCKING AWESOME MARK RUFFALO IS SO GOOD ITS SCARY
I watched the first 15 minutes and I couldn’t do more, it was just so depressing, so gray, so miserable and I think that’s the whole plot so I don’t think this show is for me, I can only do depressing when it adds something to the plot NOT WHEN IT’S THE WHOLE STORY. Best of luck to anyone who gets to finish this!
