I Am Not Okay with This

Angsty Syd navigates high school awkwardness, family drama and an unrequited crush on her best friend while trying to rein in her budding superpowers.

Nice one! I liked the pace, I like the "awkward" acting style of the protagonist, and despite the whole "super powers" thing getting tiring, well this one felt quite fresh actually.
i really loved this show.it is very character focused so you have to be someone who appreciates character growth and interactions to truly enjoy this. the writing was really amazing when it came to our main protagonist and her family background, lots of very real and relatable feelings, moments of figuring yourself out and dealing with loss and a broken family life. we are constantly told and shown that there are bigger things to come and there is foreshadowing throughout the entire show. i felt like it also had some references to carrie which was fun. the plot itself is just being set up in season one, the show absolutely needs more seasons!
I enjoyed this show so much, so disappointed they discontinued it.
I am not okay with NETFLIX CANCELLING THIS AMAZING PIECE OF ART. If this does not get uncancelled by Netflix by the time I turn 30 there will be consequences >:(
netlfix robbed us once again
netflix robbed us once again
I can’t believe they canceled the show after leaving us with that last episode
This almost feels a lot like a fresh re-imagined version of Carrie (1976). Which is a good thing. But there is more to this new story. Can't wait to see what season 2 brings (if Netflix is kind enough to grant us one).
Really good and easy watch! Brilliant writing and characters. Good storytelling and format!
Pretty much in the same boat as TEOTFW. There isn't much to it plotwise but the relationships between characters are what make this tv show interesting (especially Syd and Stan's) and overall it's very enjoyable.
Good photography is becoming a norm in this type of shows and I'M LOVING IT.
