All jokes aside, this is rather enjoyable, occasionally very funny, lighthearted show with a very charismatic lead and good supporting cast

I'm watching Season 1 Episode 1. This show gives me more of a "Day Time Soap Opera made for middle aged housewives" vibe than a cop show. Features, scenic shots around Melbourne, Australia.

I started watching because Lucy Lawless is the lead. But I was expecting a cop/detective show, which this show's pilot episode is failing to deliver. Having said that, the show might suite the Australian audience this made in New Zealand show is targeting. In my experience, the culture there is very laid back. The cops are too.
