I think it was written with love for the fans of "Ge Ge Kitaro” and “Trick”. Unfortunately it only borrowed the narrative structure and themes of those two shows and not the cast of well written characters that make those two shows great. I guess Hiroshi Abe will be busy shooting detective Galileo movies until he retires, too bad for Kuro-kun's personality.

I started off as a good show but then they decided cover the entire show with just one arc. Not only that, for three to four episode it was just Kurou getting beaten up while an idiot cop & a loli keeps on fighting on message board.
Overall it was decent, don't expect anything great.

In/Spectre is a hidden gem that is not to be missed. This anime is a breath of fresh air with its unique storyline and compelling characters. The main character Kotoko's deductive abilities are a highlight of the show, as her insights and observations keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats.

One of the things that sets In/Spectre apart is its ability to blend elements of both the supernatural and the mystery genres in a seamless and organic way. This combination creates a sense of unpredictability and keeps the audience guessing until the very end.

The animation and cinematography are top-notch, with stunning visuals that enhance the story's emotional impact. The music is also noteworthy, perfectly complementing the tone and mood of each scene.

Overall, In/Spectre is a must-watch for fans of the mystery and supernatural genres. The show is a compelling and refreshing addition to the anime world, and it's easy to see why I am already hoping for a second season. With its engaging characters, clever plot twists, and beautiful animation, In/Spectre is a true masterpiece that is not to be missed.

Sherlock Holmes + Watson like detective with a fantasy anime twist. Seemed like there were holes in the logic pretty often, but common to that genre. Otherwise competent execution.
