I have to say it... would've been way better with other judges!
Such a fun take on the show. I like that the judges share input equally and the role of the guest host makes for a fun dynamic.
This is so much better than US drag race. The runways are better, the production is better, and the challenges are even somehow not as boring. US has gone stagnant. I can't even watch it anymore, and Michelle is annoying. Not a huge RU fan anymore either - just here for the drag, and you get it. Not that Brooklyn is the best host or anything - she's not, but at least her outfits get more interesting.
Season 2 of this show as of the date of this post is by far the worst season (outside of holland and thailand, which I have yet to watch) of drag race, ever. Which is saying a lot since there are many pretty bad seasons of this franchise. This season is barely watchable.
I was really looking forward to the Canadian spin-off, but then it was announced that RuPaul wasn't going to be hosting this one. Sorry, but it's just not the same without Ru. Even the UK version got the original panel! I might change my mind one day, but for now, it's a no from me.
