this anime is a journey full of emotions, you can laugh, you can cry, but it will be a good journey

Pure emotional roller-coaster, I feel like I got to experience every shade of sad, happy, angry and everything in between.
Season 1 was an absolute masterpiece.

I've never thought I would cry for any show but this hit me so hard

Damn this show really hits me in the feels. Do not watch this unless you want to see the very things you love ripped away from your trembling fingers. The natural cycle of human life is both so immensely sad and wonderful at the same time. I do wonder though, why is naivety so easily lovable when it comes to people? I look forward to seeing what else they can do with this show.

A truly inspired premise that quickly devolved into a run-of-the-mill shonen series.

You quickly feel cheated after what felt like an instant masterpiece was fed into the jaws of mediocrity. The concept of the show felt like it was too big for the writer/s? to fully realize, so they just marched out the same overused tropes found in most mainstream anime. This might have been better served as a movie where they could have avoided getting bogged down with filler content.

I wanted to give this a 3 or a 4 because it made me so mad to see such wasted potential, but there is still a lot to like. Character design and animation are above average, and the voice acting is superb. If it wasn't for squandering of such an exceptional idea, this would be a solid 7, which is what I ultimately rated it.

A very sad and emotional anime that takes you on a journey with the main character throughout time. If you want to feel emotional, then this is the show for you.

Watch the first episode, and then drop it. Everything after the first EP is complete shit, and doesn't match the initial episode at all.
